My Favorite Homemade Salsa~

Salsa PrepI recently started experimenting with making my own Salsa.

I tried different recipes that I found online but never anything I really liked.  I started to experiment with ingredients.  I’d take this idea from this recipe I found, added something more I liked….and came up with this amazing recipe!

I’ve always liked salsa.  But this recipe?  I LOVE.  I make jars of this every week and honestly – I polish them off within days.  (Hey – don’t judge!  At least it’s healthy!)


I usually find the low carb tortillas and air fry them for chips.

Try the recipe and let me know if you like it!  The amounts aren’t exact…I tend to eyeball it at this point – but you’ll get a feel for what you like.  Love cilantro?  Add more.  Not a huge fan of jalapenos?  Add less.  The versatility of this recipe is endless!


My Homemade Salsa!

My homemade salsa and Keto friendly!

  • 6-7 Tomatoes - I use Vine Ripe or Plum Seeded & Diced
  • 1 Red Onion - Medium Diced
  • 2 Jalapeno Peppers Seeded & Diced
  • 3 TBSP Lime Juice
  • 3 tsp Pink Himalayan Salt
  • 1/3 cup Cilantro chopped


  1. Mix all above ingredients together and refrigerate!  I store mine in mason jars in the fridge and it's a perfect "grab & go"

    The longer it sits - the better the flavor!  Enjoy!
