My husband is Italian so we tend to have a steady rotation of pizza, pasta, stromboli and calzones in the dinner rotation. So I’m always trying different recipes so I’m able to enjoy the Italian foods that we love so much!
This is one of my favorites! Ham & Cheese Calzone.
Remember that fathead dough recipe I mentioned recently? It’s so versatile and PERFECT for stromboli and calzone!
Roll the dough a little thicker than normal and be sure to prick all over with a fork – then fill with your favorite fillings! Using the parchment paper, carefully fold over and crimp the edges!
I like to use a little melted butter on top to crisp it up!
Bake in the oven at 425 for about 20 minutes or until your desired level of crispness.
